Bánh mì: Cross-Cultural Typography

This simple poster focuses on the iconic Vietnamese bánh mì, using it as a focal point to help bridge the gap between Latin and Non-latin writing systems. Traditional chinese characters, which were originally associated with Vietnamese writing at the time, combined with the modern Vietnamese spelling of bánh mì as featured in the current vietnamese language are used to highlight the evolution of Vietnamese writing. When combined, they connect Vietnam's linguistic past with its present.
